About Me
Hi, I'm Ben. I am 56, I was born in Chișinău, the capital city of Moldova (former USSR), at the age of 13 immigrated to Israel. I currently live in Tel Aviv, work as a software engineer, among my hobbies are the guitar and cooking.
Since my early twenties I've been fascinated with various national cuisines, learned different cooking approaches and styles, first from cookbooks and later from the Internet. I have travelled to South America, Europe and the Far East and have always brought back with me the tastes and smells of other countries. When we host the family or friends for a dinner (and it happens quite often), the meal is usually based around some regional or national cuisine. Through this site I would like to share with you the knowledge I have collected through the years and maybe to gain some more knowledge.
